Taking a cue from Leah's...things you might not know, I thought I'd share (as Maria from the Sound of Music would say) a few of my favorite things!
My Favorite.......
Place: On my Pop's porch in the swing in the Fall or Spring.
Book: The Devil's Arithmetic
Movie: Willy Wonka and Annie
Memory: My parents dancing in their bedroom. They did this often usually to beach music.
Trip: NYC in 1987 to see my brother in the Macy's Parade and we had Thanksgiving dinner at the World Trade Center Windows of the World Restaurant (plus it was my birthday)
Day: Friday
Color: Green
Food: Close call between Steak and Cupcakes!
Song: I love music....but if I have to choose it would be This is the Moment from Jekyll and Hyde
Ice Cream: Mint Chocolate Chip
Grade: 11th....we had so much fun plus I only weighed about 95 lbs.
Birthday: I think it was our 18th when Alyson and I had one together at Clawson's
Holiday: Thanksgiving...it's just about sitting down with your family and enjoying a nice meal together and realizing how blessed you are without all the typical "holiday" stress...plus some years it is my birthday like this year....except this is is the big 3-0.
Word: Actually...because Max says this in every sentence and it is so cute.
TV Show Current: Too many to choose just one...Grey's Anatomy, The Tudors, American Idol
TV Show Past: Tie between 90210 and the Brady Bunch
Website: Of course www.alydart.com Her passion for photography and life and her extreme talent shows through in the most unbelievable photographs you have ever seen. I have never been happier then when I viewed the proofs of the twins. I love to look at the blog and see what she has done next! I now know what life looks like through her eyes and it is a wonderful place.
Store: Stein Mart
Soft Drink: Diet Mt Dew
Historical Topic: Titanic
Musical/Play: Annie.....but I do love the Sound of Music
Restaurant: Sanitary...so many happy times. I smile when I walk through the door and remember some of the best times of my life.
Thing to Do: Is to watch my children smile, especially when they are running toward me with their arms outstretched.
and of course....Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes, Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes, Silver white winters that melt into Springs, These are a few of my favorite things!

Easter
Yesterday we had a great day! We went to Sunday School and Church and then went to visit all the relatives! The twins got so much Easter stuff it was like Christmas again. Callie Margaret told me that she had figured out that Jesus died on the cross so that when she and Max were bad it was ok! I thought about it and really she is pretty close! They looked absolutely beautiful and I cannot believe how big they are getting. It seems like they were just born! I am just beginning this blog stuff so hopefully I will be posting often. I enjoy everyone else's so much. :)
New!
Due to the fact that I love to read all the Hancock Family's blogs I have decided to do one of my own. I do not know how exciting it will be but here goes..... :)
